Walter Ciandrini is a contemporary painter of Italian origin, based in Alsace. His work explores the human figure through portraits and silhouettes imbued with mystery and introspection. Using acrylic, ink, or pastel, he draws sinuous, sensitive lines that structure faces that are often silent, almost suspended in time. His palette, dominated by warm, earthy tones—ochres, reds, browns—gives his works an intimate yet powerful presence. Between figuration and abstraction, Walter Ciandrini offers a reflection on identity, solitude, and relationships with others. His characters, stripped of explicit expression, invite the viewer to project their own emotions and enter into an inner dialogue. His work is presented in various galleries and art fairs in France and abroad.
