In Yris, Sébastien Allart explores the boundary between portrait and inner emotion. The female face emerges from a network of free, instinctive lines where each stroke preserves the trace of gesture and time. The hands supporting the face create a silent, almost meditative pause, reinforced by a direct gaze that immediately engages the viewer.
